A Brighter Future Starts Here: Introducing Ms. Johnson
My passion for nurturing young minds began at the tender age of 14 when I became the family/community nanny. Witnessing firsthand the joy of learning ignited a lifelong dedication to helping children blossom and reach their full potential.
Driven by this passion, I embarked on a journey of continued education. After graduating from Harding University High School, a Title I school in Charlotte, NC, I pursued a career in early childhood education. While teaching infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-agers, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Shaw University.
My thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. I furthered my education at Johnson C. Smith University, where I obtained my Master's Degree in Social Work. While immersed in academics, I actively contributed to the community by providing financial aid guidance at the university, interning with Congresswoman Alma Adams, volunteering as a school social worker with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System, and continuing my work as a nanny.

After graduating from Johnson C. Smith University, I was offered a position as a director that would later on turn into an accounts payable role. Being that I have worn several hats in the industry I felt encouraged to open up Fair Chance Learning Academy.
Today, I bring my extensive experience and unwavering dedication to Fair Chance Learning Academy. I am committed to fostering a nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and grow into confident, compassionate individuals. My goal is to partner with parents in creating a safe and stimulating space that ignites a lifelong love of learning.
